Therapy?

I’m going through the materials for this expanded and modified version of „Observations“ and I get a clear and concrete feeling that these notes are just such (for me important, but) „barkers“ that can’t bear the format of a classic chapter and even if they are thematically suitable to my observations, they would somehow disturb the integrity of the book… besides – according to my perception, the previous chapters were quite dense and these marginalia would only dilute them…
So here’s what I’ll do – I’ll gradually publish these little bits and pieces in the „BLOG“ section of my website www.vejsada.art and this will be the final chapter, so I won’t write it into retirement either, right? 😀 It seems to me a logical conclusion to dedicate to therapies…
First, I will use a description of what I do from a website that specializes in therapies (www.znamyterapeut.cz/kolin/vejsada-ondrej) and then expand and comment a bit… I mean, I quote:

About the therapist
Here I should probably list a bunch of certificates and detail everything I’ve studied and subsequently accomplished…you know and I ask = why exactly? Isn’t just a first and last name enough? If you are seriously interested in these details – feel free to ask me or check here = www.vejsada.art 😉

And therapy…what am I doing?
Well, it’s actually quite simple.
Each of us has an amazing capacity for „self-healing“. The role of the therapist I see is that they first have to have worked out their own ego/blocks/negatives/programs – it doesn’t matter what we call it, they just have to be cool, calm, on top of things and be able to help another activate that self-healing process, just know how. That’s how I imagine successful therapy and it really doesn’t matter what we call it…like „acceptance therapy“ or „the RUŠ method“ or „personal growth therapy“… Practice-results clearly prove its meaning…not to mention the theory or „theatrics“ associated with it.
Well, I humbly claim that I can do this – see dozens of satisfied clients and successful therapies…
The only condition is that YOU personally want to do something about it/somehow solve it etc. and you are ready to „work on yourself“ because I will only guide you, the work is up to you 😉

motto: „We go to therapy because our parents didn’t and we don’t want our children to have to...“

Price?
I’m sure of the Therapy and myself – what I’m not sure of is if we will „hear“ each other, that’s why the first hour is free, to see how the therapy will go and if you want me as a therapist and I want you as a client 😉
After that it’s simple 1 hour = 1000,-Kč (or 30 minutes = 500,-Kč) and it’s either a personal meeting, a video call or a classic phone call…“

You know, I’ve basically gone through the classic therapy round. I don’t want to play judge here to determine which therapy is „right“… nor do I want to make some kind of cheap criticism – and it’s not even my ambition to provide you with some detailed guide to „self-therapy“ here… In fact, I was very relieved when I realized that I am not Jesus to save everyone 😉 The book is called „Life Observations or Glosses Almost Philosophical“ and so in that spirit I will only describe how I see it and what my personal experience is = the rest is up to you 😉
As I mention above, the key (at least for me) is functionality + I would add speed and permanence of results. And given how different we all are and how something a little different suits everyone, it’s probably beyond obvious that there is no completely universal method/approach…
I’ll just mention the really rough outlines = e.g. psychoanalysis (I know, completely outdated actually) is fine, quite effective, but woefully slow; hypnotherapy – I found it basically similar to swallowing pills = it helps, but because it’s not a personal decision of the individual, but something is „supplied“ from outside – the will of the therapist or the chemistry in the pill = the problem comes back after a while (even if it’s maybe 10 years)…so it’s not permanent…
For the last eight years and up to the time I am writing these letters, I consider the RUŠ method to be the fastest, most effective and also with lasting results – although I sincerely disagree with its gradual development in a corporate direction with (no exaggeration – and I really know what I am writing about) sectarian features…
I’ll only respond to one aspect and link it also to the answer to a frequent question = why I don’t run therapies „on insurance“ and why I don’t actually make an exclusive living out of it – why is it still my hobby (with covering my own expenses)? If it were to support me, the price would have to be much higher, but that’s not the crux of the matter…
The RUŠ method is undergoing long term testing in an attempt to be recognised and included amongst conventional methods of psychotherapy – you see, it has been my experience that a reputable psychiatrist in my town (I stress in good faith and intent) occasionally sends clients to me for therapy – well, I can see how it is almost useless! Why? Because people come in who are not determined to change, to do something about it, to solve something – they just obey an external directive and expect a miracle, because someone will solve their problems for them! 😀 Just to be fair, even these clients are satisfied in the end – but not me, I’m probably a maximalist 😉
I sincerely wish that the possible „registration“ would help the author and especially many other people – BUT I, for myself, with full responsibility I declare that I do not want to go this way… it does not seem to me functional… besides, I really don’t need a surgery, a nurse, a file cabinet, re-testing and similar bureaucratic delays = my every client is a kind of my test if what I do is functional or if I am fooling myself…
And that’s actually the very idea in the conclusion = I really appreciate you finishing the book to this point. I wasn’t trying to bring you into my system/dogma – I was trying to lead you to yourself – to find your divinity within yourself… so now you too can decide (if you want to) if and how much I succeeded…

Thank you…
